A Pleasant Surprise

We came to Panama, and met a couple Korean families from the First Baptist church we’ve been attending. Actually, we’ve been “tutoring” the Pastor’s daughter, and a friend with their English over their summer break. So every Monday they come by and we work on acrostics and play scrabble. Or write out cinquains and play boggle. This past Monday, they brought us an amazing surprise:

A Korean lunch. :)

And bulgogi:

It. Was. Wonderful.

Who knew I’d have to come to Panama to experience Korean food?

  1. I remember the taste of both of those…yummy! So glad you get a ‘taste’ of Daniels early foods. Next is the little fried fish with eyes right?!
