He (or she) hasn’t been in the house for weeks now, but we still hear him outside chirping at night. Our landlord, Roger, told me the other day, “We got used to having a gecko in the house when we lived in Fiji and Tahiti. They’re great because they eat mosquitoes!” That conversation was not the first time that we’ve casually learned something new about our landlords. I came away thinking, “They lived in Fiji and Tahiti. What haven’t they done?!”
But I quite agree about the geckos; if they help with the mosquito population, I’ll gladly let them in.
