For those of you who haven’t read my Grandma’s 1941 “Today’s Etiquette” book, that is the traditional gift for the 5th wedding anniversary. :)
So, 5 years ago around 2:23 p.m. we were doing this:
That was the wedding. :) Now for the ever-after part:
2011 (Or barely into 2012…it’s okay if we kind of cheat on exact dates, right?)
I will soon have a 2013 picture, since we are taking a little trip come Monday, to warmer weather and some only-us-time. It’s going to be grand and I can’t wait! I think it might be the first time we’ve gone away without Natasha, or friends or family with us overnight since…before Natasha arrived.
It’s been an amazing 5 years! It doesn’t seem that long, and yet our wedding day seems so far behind us.
P.S. Please excuse my odd conglomeration of photo watermarks. The wedding selection is from our fabulous wedding photographer, Susie. The picture from 2009 was taken by Seth, and you can see his own watermark, but Picasa added mine when I exported it. :( Then, the rest…are still a collection of ours, cell phone and my camera with Seth as photographer. Fun, aye?
