Fall in Germany

One of the little surprises that we loved of Eibelstadt, was all the playgrounds. They were tucked behind houses, down little paths, and so much fun.

This particular one had pulleys, buckets and wheels for playing with sand, and even sand toys. Hours of fun for sure!

From the beginning of our trip, we had noticed these little bicycles with little people zooming around on them. They have no pedals, and the little tykes riding them were quite proficient at the sport of balancing along. In fact, that’s what they’re called: Balance Bicycles. (You probably think we can’t live without links to wikipedia. Oh well. I don’t feel like writing an essay on various topics or places when there’s already one written!) I think these bikes are a brilliant idea!
